I turned 21 yesterday. And I'm not going to lie and say that I feel older. Because I don't. I feel just the same as I did before my birthday. And I think I'll always feel that way. I like to think I'll always be young at heart (maybe I'll start stocking up on anti-aging cream though..haha)
I woke up yesterday to find those Louboutin beauties. It totally made my day. Along with all the texts I got. I seriously can't thank all of you enough. You put a smile on my face! Special thanks to mom for the shoes. I also got the most beautiful pair of Chanel earrings that I can't wait to wear from my best friend (Lorna, I LOVE them :) )
I was just telling a friend yesterday about how technology made it so hard to forget someone's birthday. There's alerts everywhere! Whether it's your cellphone, the calendars on your computers or the mighty Facebook. Always remember that the smallest gestures count. And next time you decide to send someone a birthday text. Make sure it's personalized. It makes them feel special and that you mean it and that you're not just texting them because Facebook or your cellphone told you to.
