Azza Fahmy launches Design Studio at Darb1718

In a simple and chic event at Darb1718, renowned jewelry design company Azza Fahmy celebrated the official launch if its design studio in association with Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy. Artists, journalists and Azza Fahmy fans enjoyed the event, sipping wine and munching on finger food.

The studio offers its students a three-year program that includes both theoretical and studio work with a selection of top-tier international instructors mentoring the students.

Offering the necessary skills that are needed to be a successful jewelry designer, 'Azza Fahmy Design Studio' will focus on all aspects of jewelry making including the particulars of working with silver, gold and stones. Students will also be required to study the wide variety of jewelry forms and the various design techniques with a stress on the development of the creative process.

Summer is approaching and the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by this Spanish store chain is coming to life and it shows us its brightest side.

The proposals, designed for spontaneous and modern women, are comfortable and carefree, which are the usual feelings when the good weather arrives. A wider color palette adds to these feelings and achieves a very natural transition from pastels to fluor colors.

Amongst stripes and floral prints, monochromatic garments stand out with deep coral, different shades of blue that go from light sky blue to indigo or deep navy blue, and citrus lime green that refreshes any look.

Dresses come in strong as the driving force of the collection and offer original asymmetries, volumes and drapes. Shirts and tops also include something special in their designs: cute flounces, modern strips of different colors and crossed cuts. SUITEBLANCO also introduces the micro-top trend and presents different models for the most daring women.

As for garments to wear with our shirts and tops, there are fine and summery cotton jeans and shorts or miniskirts.

Embroidery and appliqués are still the main thread in a line that pays attention to detail and is designed carefully. Accessories such as handbags and jewelry also join this particular tribute to color and appear just as tempting as the clothing.
